My aunt Caroline sent me this great antique bottle that says "Lydia E. Pinkhams Medicine." I just love it! I put it in the kitchen window with some plants :)

More photos and less carpet

I got sick of seeing the carpet that makes the whole house smell like dog pee, so what better thing to do on a rainy cold day than enlist friends (thanks Jessica!) to help get rid of it!

 There floor also had a layer of OSB under the carpet, so it was removed as well.

The kitchen continues to take shape as the bathroom is framed out, plumbing is added and a doorway disappears!

Upstairs, the future laundry room and master bath gets new subfloors and a bit of framing as well.

While demo'ing the walls in the laundry room, we didn't find any insulation, but found this massive wasp nest.   The shoe in the pic is an adult size 9!
