So sad, walking through the basement with our contractor and I hit my head on a low doorway, and a nail went through my sunglasses. Luckily they were on top of my head, but still, that was my last pair of Smith's!!

Graffiti

The restoration of an 1893 Victorian house....in 6 months!

In 2011-2012 we restored our 1893 Victorian house in Ogden, Utah. We had approximately 6 months to renovate the home and close out the FHA renovation mortgage that we used to finance the project. Luckily, we have some gracious friends and family who helped us on a daily basis and an amazing contractor who managed the project and handled all the technical details. We finished the renovation and moved into the home in February 2012. This blog chronicled the historic restoration process and is still used to share updates on smaller projects.
