Disaster Yard needs TLC
Pj and I are trying to make the yard look a little better. These first two photos show us trying to even out the huge lumps in the yard (from when we painted the house and drove on the lawn with the big boom lift) with dirt. We ended up having to plant two batches of grass seed because the first one never sprouted. The last three photos are of the junky backyard. There were a lot of pavers on the property so we put them to use and made a little patio.

Resurrection of the fence!
It doesn't happen often anymore, but we spent the weekend working on a project and got our old wrought iron fence installed. Now it just needs a fresh coat of paint and a few flowers planted around it to finish it off.
We didn't have access to a welder that was powerful enough to weld it that would run off of 110 power, so we assembled it off site. It was a bit of a process to haul a 24' long fence home in the back of an 18' dump truck.
